Topics such as planning projects, managing time, increasing self-awareness, setting and reaching goals as well as improving everyday life habits (eating, sleeping...). Coaching also helps to manage emotional issues such as anger management and low self-esteem. Last but not least, this process will allow the client to focus on strengths such as multi-tasking, lateral thinking, creativity and willingness to take risk that are qualitites often granted to individuals with ADD/ADHD.
ADHD and ADD must be diagnosed and treated by a Psychiatrist. Coaching helps but cannot substitute medical treatment. Coaching and medical treatment can be done simultaneously.
